Open your MS Word Program
On the Toolbar click "Insert" then "Picture"
then "From File"
An "Insert Picture Box" will open up. Here
is where you will choose the location (Drive and Folder) where one of my
recipe cards are located on your computer- either on your hard drive or
from the CD.
When you find the recipe card you want to
type on just click on it and then click "Insert"
The recipe card should have opened up in
your MS Word program now.
Without clicking on or having the card selected,
now click "Insert" "Text Box" from the Toolbar.
A white text box should appear somewhere
on your screen.
Grab it, drag it and stretch it over the
top of the recipe card.
Your Card Should Look Something Like This
Now:
and when you Click Off or Away From the
Text Box you should just see the recipe card and no text box. If you still
see the white text box and it's covering up parts of the recipe card graphics:
Click with your mouse on the very edge of
the text box to select it and "right click" your mouse to bring up the
menu like you see below:
Now choose "Format Text Box"
and a "Format Text Box" box will open up.
Choose "No Fill" and "No Line" like you
see below, and click "OK":
Now Your Recipe Card Looks Normal again like
this:
Click on the recipe card and your text box
will be there, with a cursor,
all ready for you to type your recipe in!!
Go ahead and type your recipe now.
You can change the font, the size of the
text, you can center it, etc...however you like!
When you're done click off of the card the
text box will go away,
and it will be all ready for you to print
on card stock paper and cut out!
I hope this tutorial was easy for you to
follow.
If you have any trouble and need help, please
email me.
Thanks!
